Avoid using traditional bar soap to wash the face. These often contain strong chemicals, not designed to be used on sensitive skin such as the face.

The best way to get rid of acne, using natural methods, is applying lemon juice to your face. Lemon juice contains a mild bleach, which will help lighten the redness around your pimples, making them less visible. Lemon juice will also help to burn away the top layer of the skin, which often has dead skin cells and bacteria lurking around.

I bet you didn’t know the best way to get rid of acne without using any treatment, is to simply drink more water! Although this alone won’t cure your skin completely, it will certainly help to keep your skin hydrated, and will stop it becoming dry and flakey.

Try to aim for around 8 glasses of water per day. This doesn’t mean you can drink nothing throughout the day and binge on 8 glasses before going to bed! You must be drinking at regular intervals, to give your body a constant supply.

You mustn’t let you acne go untreated. In some cases, if you let acne run it’s course, it can often get worse, and you could be left with nasty looking scarring.
