Christmas Predictions For Toys Already

Yes that’s right, the predictions for this year’s top Christmas toys have already been made by toy giant Hamleys and it would seem there are certainly a couple in there that I most certainly agree with. So without further ado, here are the predictions for Christmas 2010.

Buzz Lightyear

This was always going to be one that I put forward for this year anyway and this is thanks to the fact Toy Story 3 is one of the biggest summer blockbusters for not only children but the entire family. Pixar and Disney are doing yet another fantastic job on merchandising this year and I knwo for a fact that not only Buzz but the rest of the cast from the movie is going to be sold in their thousands. It is because of this that Pixar’s latest movie could be one of the biggest money earners in history (including sales from the toys). I am hoping it beats Avatar on this because i love Pixar and the films that they make.

Stinky The Garbage Truck

This is a transformer type lorry that can eat cars, tell jokes and even sings. This toy has been described as a young boy’s greatest friend and it will cost a whopping 80 pounds when it hits UK stores. To me this is a lot of money for a bit of plastic that can move but perhaps this is just me.

Other Entries

There are other entries on the list too like the Zhu Zhu pets from last year and Ben 10 is going to be making it onto the list again this year. Other than this I can see traditional toys like train sets along with Scalextric and the odd RC helicopterbeing sold too.
