Reading

Of course this happens in the schools every single day but a child will always pay a lot more attention to the parents than they will their teachers. It is very easy not to sit down with your child and read them a story every night. This has to be done in order for them to discover the joys and wonders of reading. A teacher will rarely provide actions as well and this is where you can come in and make them feel like they are in the story. if you are doing this every single night I would say the kids are going to really look forward to reading all of the time!

Instrument

We aren’t talking fancy DJ equipment and acoustic guitars but something like a recorder. This is a great first instrument for a child and is something you can very easily learn with them. It helps children to learn all of the notes they will need to know for future music classes. It also helps the brain to develop, you never know they may actually want to carry it on and learn to play drum kits.

Playing

This is something a lot of parents also do not find time to do with their children and it is very important that you do. One of the best things about this is that you get to spend time with the kids but on top of this you get to teach them about sharing and how to be safe. It really can help the whole family out!
