Is There A Right Age For Jewellery?
There are a lot of people out there that seem to dress their kids it up in all kinds of crazy jewellery items which is all fine and good if the child wants to be dressed up but what happens if they do not? Are there some parents out there that dress up their children in things like amber jewellery just for the sake of it? loads of parent seem to think it is best to take this method of doing things and although it is okay sometimes, what is the right age for jewellery on a child?.
The Age
Although there is no specific rule or law to abide by when it comes to putting the child in expensive jewellery I do not think a parent really needs to even think about it until the child is has grown up into their mid to late teens, this is around the time that jewellery actually becomes important to them so why do it any earlier?. There are special occasions where jewellery will be needed like family weddings and it is important you get them the right kind of silver jewellery for the occasion.
If you want to get your child jewellery when they are younger there is nothing wrong with this you just need to make sure you do not go out there and splash out on things like celtic jewellery because you are just wasting your money. all you really need to do is to get some cheapish plastic jewellery for the child, they are not going to know the difference and they will love it. you should never try to force a child to grow up sooner than they should, always a bad idea!.
So there you have it really, make sure your child is wearing the right kind of jewellery at the right time of their life and all will be fine. Just don’t rush things, you will find they grow up too fast anyway.
