Living with a household of young girls can be crazy. Mom and dad have a heck of a crazy road ahead of them, especially if you have twins or more. There is so much to buy for little girls that it can literally drive a parent to the poor house. It all starts when you bring them home as babies and ends when you send them off to college. Sometimes, even longer.

Your first purchase would be baby cribs. Every child needs a baby crib, but every mom wants her little girls crib to be extra special. There are cribs that are designed with scroll work and are very girly. Also, the bedding can be extra fancy. They are adorable and sweet.

Things can get crazy as well when it comes to dressing little girls. You can just about be assured that your girls, no matter what age, will have a full closet of clothes. You will most likely find half of those clothes scattered across the floor as they grow older. Instead of having a bedroom floor, it will look more like dozens of girls shirts pieced together.

The desire for clothes only grows as they get older. Soon, you will find your girl has more girls t shirts than a clothing store. This is one of the reasons so many people consider girls to be high maintenance over boys. While boys have a more laid back attitude, girls have the need for perfection.

Having a house full of boys can be a totally different story. While boys need much of the same things that girls need, like a crib and clothes, they take less stuff to make them happy. Most boys could care less about their clothes or how clean they are. Some boys barely care if they are dressed at all.

While girls may be a mess when it comes to clothes scattered all around their room, with boys it is also different. Boys tend to be messier with everything else. In fact, you may never know what you will find in a pile in a boys room. Strange odors included. But boys tend to have more mild personalities as they get older. Girls have more of a tendency to be moody and will hold grudges for weeks where boys tend to get over things much quicker.

While raising boys and girls can be very different, each sex has their ups and downs. But giving your children love and support is what is most needed in any family. Boys and girls can both grow up to be happy and successful with their parents support and love.
