Nerf Barrel Break: Insight on Nerf’s Double Barrel Shotgun
The nerf barrel break is a new weapon put out by nerf which you can use as your main or sidearm gun for battles. Whether it is your first nerf gun or you are a seasoned veteran of nerf wars, this gun has some unique qualities you should know about. So read on and hopefully your skills will improve with this knowledge.
The first thing to cover is something you should already have figured; stay safe. Make sure to avoid aiming for the face or head and keep a pair of glasses handy to protect your eyes. Besides, you should be aiming for the torso anyway as it presents a larger target so that more of your shots hit home.
Now, onto the weapon itself. There are a couple of things to get used to when using the barrel break. This is because in order to reload it you actually breach the gun barrels. As a result this can present an initial challenge to some players, and makes for some getting used to.
However you can handle this easily by familiarizing yourself with the weapon loading and reloading. The rapid pace of a nerf game means you do not want to get caught off guard, so work on getting your gun reloaded quickly. This not only makes sure you stay in the game but also means you can take more of your opponents out of it faster.
Next you should notice that because the gun is not self-loading like some nerf weapons, it has an ammo store across the top of the barrel. There are two challenges here: removing and conserving ammo. Remember that the barrel break gives you two shots before you have to reload. This means along with reloading quickly you will want to place your shots carefully and also get used to fishing two fresh rounds from the top of the gun.
With some practice you should have no trouble at all using your barrel break accurately and effectively. Also remember that it can be used as a sidearm along with your primary nerf weapon as mentioned. Good luck and may shots be perfect
