The 1996-97 Steve Nash Rookie Card

Steve Nash rookie card, went from instances of difficulty to joining a list of those who had made history. He has become one of several 11 guys that are the only one’s in the history of the NBA to win Most Valuable player, many times. He weighs less than 200 lbs and is six ft and 3 inches tall.

In his initial couple of seasons playing with the Phoenix Suns, things were not the best for him. It was in 1996 that he had arrived from Santa Clara and was met with Jason Kidd on the team, who did quite well at that time. Within that time period he averaged a lot less than 10 points a game and 3 assists.

In 1998, he was exchanged off to Dallas, TX (there are some Mexican jokes about this). While trying to play in Dallas, his game took a turn to all-star status. In 2004, listed as a free agent, he chose to return with the Suns. The Suns now, would and could not consider playing without him.

Mike D’Antoni’s way of coaching provided the helping hand needed by Steve Nash rookie (want to see his cross tattoos?). He turned one of the greats when it comes to shooting from beyond and getting himself up to the rip for layups. Shooting now at the average of 19 points and eleven assists a game; it was good for getting him MVP for 2004-05 and 2005-06.

One of several times he won MVP was in 2004-05 and the other was in 2005-06, while helping the team turn out to be among the best teams in the NBA. Despite the fact that his scoring in assists and points increased in 2006-07, it seems that the Steve Nash rookie card, persists to not get the popularity well deserved.

It is still a mystery of why his card persists to have a value so low. For the time being nevertheless, you can get a great deal on his card and will continue to be able to until eventually they recognize all of the great work that he has done.
