Try Your Hand at These Two Easy Family St. Patrick’s Day Craft Projects
If you don’t have a lot of time to spend with your family making complicated St. Patrick’s Day crafts but would like to do something for the holiday, you’re in luck. The Internet is a great source of free St. Patty’s Day images that can be used to create easy crafts. For example, crafts made from Irish vintage cards found on the Web make projects simple, due to the fact that vintage images are both versatile and very effective at conveying the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. You can find a little something for everyone, because vintage Saint Patrick’s Day images range from mischievous to sweet to Irish-loving patriotic. These pictures also usually cost nothing to download and their age makes them not eligible for copyright protection. That’s a wonderful bonus, because you don’t have to worry about the accidental illegal use of other people’s art. The table should have two columns and six or eight rows, depending on how long and thin you want the cards. Place your chosen art into every other cell, leaving room to write people’s names. Then, print onto heavy card stock, cut the place cards using a paper cutter or a ruler and craft knife and they’ll be ready to fold in half. Voila! That’s it. Your St. Patty’s Day table will be instantly more beautiful.

When you’ve downloaded the St. Patrick’s Day art you’d like to use from the Web, paste it into some form of publishing or document software. You can size the card by adjusting the software’s settings. Place the image on one half of the card, so it can be folded in half after it’s printed. Print the card on sturdy stock, fold it and and apply just a little glitter glue to make it sparkle. You can also make your own envelopes or just get some at the dollar store.
