Why Are Vans In Cartoons? (Part 1)
Many cartoons actually feature vans within in them and millions of people actually tune in to watch some of them which is quite remarkable really. Some of which are past jewels that have not really seen any real success in a long while and of course some of them are just simply made for the kids. Here are the ones that I could think of.
Mystery Machine
This has to be the top van out of all of the cartoon vans. In terms of putting a van inside a cartoon this is the one that really kicked it off. Believe it or not Scooby Doo is actually forty years old this year as it was first screened in 1969! The show is obviously still going strong and has not lost the original design at all, there are still many monsters to be caught. It is pressumed that they always use someone in disguise instead of a real monster so that younger kids are not scared. I wonder if the gang have the van on Van Leasing
Postman Pat’s Van
This is more of a stop-motion feature than a cartoon but it has to be mentioned as it is certainly the most famous van to be made by somebody here in Britain It was first screened in 1981 and a newer series was made for 2006. This show was really aimed at the younger generations of people and I will admit to watching the show when I was young myself. One of the best things about Postman Pat is that he is actually able to deliver all of his post on time even when helping various people out!
Cheap vehicle contracts has got to be something that these toons held in their minds when getting these vans.
Which has the best van in the popular South Park, Family Guy and South Park series, read part two to find out. Small van leasing is key for the next part.
