Why Do People Collect Plastic Model Kits?

Okay so collecting the kits themselves is not something that a lot of people do as they cost a lot of money and you immediately want to get them out and start messing about with them and this is even more true when it comes to something like RC helicopter because there is no way that you can just let something like this sit in its box for a long period of time.

On the other hand when it comes to many plastic model kits like action figures because a lot of people will actually go out into the shops and buy two of them. One of them to play with (if you’re a kid) and one of them to keep for your child until they are a bit older as this will allow them to get a lot of money from it. If you look at all of the figures that were released around 20 years ago you will see that they now sell for a hell of a lot of money online or in shops if they are still in pristine condition.

Although I am not a big collector of action figures I do have a video game that is actually worth a lot of money because not many of them were made.

So like I was saying you are not going to be collecting electric helicoptersbecause these are simply made for people to build and fly either for fun or for competitive purposes but when it comes to action figures and other things like this then I can see why people do it.

Of course you could do what a lot of people do and start selling all of your old models on places like ebay because it will actually allow you to get a lot more money. On top of this you could be buying your kids stuff like this so in the future they can do the same.
